Milburn Stone presents

Musical fantasy | Recommended for all ages

Your favorite fairy tale stories are woven together as Sondheim and Lapine offer up a friendlier andtoned down version of their Broadway classic inInto the Woods Jr. Timeless fantasy characters, such as Little Red Riding Hood, The Big Bad Wolf, Jack (and his magic beanstalk), and many more, come to life like you’ve never seen them before as they meet and interact in this whimsical original story about trying to achieve the goal of living “happily ever after.” The musical centers on a young maiden called Cinderella, an abstracted boy named Jack, Jack’s mother and the giant he upsets, a childless baker and his wife, Rapunzel, a couple of princes, a witch, Little Red Riding Hood, and the wolf who all find themselves in the woods, where they are forced to face their fears and learn a few lessons along the way. This shortened version of Sondheim’s beloved musical adapted for young performers is perfect fable for all of those who wish.
