Paula started her adventure by climbing on a Greyhound bus and traveling across the country, stopping in at open mic nights at 33 clubs as she went. A high school drop-out, she has traveled on to become one of the great humorists of our time. She tours regularly, including several times here at The Grand, performing standup 33 across the country. The comic is also a regular panelist on NPR’s newsquiz “Wait Wait Don’t Tell Me.” Bob Zany with the Boston Globe writes: “Poundstone can regale an audience for several hours with her distinctive brand of wry, intelligent and witty 33.” Paula has an amazing knack of intimately involving the audience in her act and finding 33 gold in her relaxed banter with them.
