The best place to watch theatre in the summer is outdoors. Delaware Shakespeare Festival presents Shakespeare under the stars on the lush grounds of Rockwood Mansion Park.
Our talented company breathes new life into these classic works, as the audience dines and enjoys a midsummer evening. In 2012, DSF presents Shakespeare’s most magical comedy, A Midsummer Night’s Dream!
Gates open at 6:15pm and you are encouraged to bring picnic baskets, blankets and low-backed chairs for general admission lawn seating. There will be pre-show music and two actors from the production will offer insight to the play. The main event “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” will begin at 7:30pm.
