Fair Hill International – October 18-21, 2012

World Class equestrian competition.  A showcase of world-class horse sport, the Fair Hill International three-day eventing is the main attractions of the Festival in the Country.  Watch Olympic-caliber athletes take on daunting drops and huge fences, as they gallop at top speeds across the spectacular countryside.   Features the elegant dressage phase on Thursday and Friday, the breath taking cross-country phase on Saturday, and the dramatic show jumping phase on Sunday.

The Festival in the Country also encompasses a four day celebration of Maryland life style, featuring Chesapeake Bay area Food and Drink, Dog Agility Trials, President’s Cup Pony Club Games, Kids’ Corner, HorsePlay Pageant, Live Music, Miniature Horse Demonstrations,  The Art and Sport of Falconry with Live Birds of Prey, Classic Cars, a Trade Fair filled with shopping opportunities, and much more.  Children under 12 free.  Ticket price: $5 – $15.  Parking on site Thursday and Friday, free.  Remote parking with shuttle buses on Saturday and Sunday.
