Mount Harmon is a scenic and historic treasure. This festival showcases the plantation’s rare American Lotus in peak bloom and pristine natural surroundings, and includes special nature-inspired artisans and activities. The American Lotus, a relative of the water lily and the largest wildflower in the United States, is rare in Maryland and neighboring states, but abundant at Mount Harmon. Admission $5. FOMH Members and children under 12 free. Proceeds benefit Mount Harmon Plantation.
